Motorola has come up with a breakthrough technology in smartphone screen. A screen that is shatter proof. This technology will be introduced in Motorol’s upcoming phone Moto X Force.
According to Amit Boni, general manager of Motorola India, the shatterproof screen technology will be in India by January with the launch of Moto X Force.
“The Moto X Force will soon be introduced in India. It has the same Moto ShatterShield display technology. Also, the name “Droid Turbo 2” is exclusive to the US; the same phone will be introduced as the Moto X Force in India and other countries,” Boni said in an interview with CNN-IBN.
In a video demonstration Moto X Force sustained a drop of around 2 meters, while the counterparts Iphone 6 and Samsung’s Galaxy coudln’t bear the drop.

Moto X Force has a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

It comes with 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion, 13-megapixel rear camera and five-megapixel wide-angle front camera. It also features a 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.  it still lacks the latest android version Marshmallow (Android 6.0), it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
